ACR participated in Volcano Night (in daylight this year, to coincide with high tide on the Jubilee Weekend). 18 members constructed two volcanoes cheered on by several other club members. The rain held off, the sun shone whilst an easterly breeze fortified the waves of the incoming tide. We had to build fast. Fuel for our two fires was in plentiful supply. Two respectable volcanoes were constructed. We did not burn the longest, but we did not get extinguished first and next year we will do better!
