The weather was kind and the members who went along had a good day . We had 8 people which was enough for a crew change . It took about an hour’s rowing each way on a Neap Tide. The pictures show John Ellis investigating the other boats , Peter Drew narrating chapter 45 of his autobiography to a attentive crew , casting off from Tweedmouth and arriving at Paxton. We repaired to the Lindisfarne Inn on the way back for a pit stop.
