A bit blustery today, so the plan was to launch into the estuary, just in case that becomes a necessity on the Maiden Voyage.
As it turned out, even with the trailer repatriated from its secret location it’s not that simple. Our main problem being that the jockey wheel support weld is split.
So it was all hands to the trolley, and we hauled her along the beach to the estuary, then launched at the slightly steeper pitch of beach. Rowed around into the estuary, landed at the slip, changed crews, had some aggravation shipping the rudder (That’s going to get altered!) and the 2nd crew rowed her back and landed at the LBH.
Still not slick, but it’s coming together.
